As our community has grown, information about local services, programs and opportunities has become increasingly spread across numerous organizations, websites and social media pages. Hello Henry brings it together—helping readers save time, make meaningful connections and more easily discover everything Henry County has to offer.

From dining, recreation and youth athletics to education, healthcare, faith, local history and community resources, Hello Henry will make navigating Henry County simpler and experiencing it more rewarding.

Meet the Publisher

Hello Henry is created and published by Henry County native Cristy McAbee.

A journalist, communications professional and mom of two, Cristy has spent much of her career telling Henry County’s stories and helping local businesses and organizations connect with the people they serve.

She previously created and published the Henry County Factbook, the publication now being reimagined as Hello Henry. From researching and writing to design, advertising partnerships and distribution, Cristy brings a deeply local perspective to every page.

Her goal for Hello Henry is simple: to create one useful, engaging resource that makes it easier for residents and visitors to navigate Henry County, discover what it offers and feel more connected to the community.
